Groundwater level measurement

Groundwater level measurement is one of our specialist applications involving pressure sensors and communication units.

The method has been developed in cooperation with water supply companies to reflect changing circumstances. The solution is also suitable for measuring the surface levels of inland waterways.

The measuring device is the DMU 08 pressure sensor with a microprocessor, which meets both industrial and municipal water management requirements.

It has a robust design and is easy to install.
The sensor can be used to measure both drinking water and sewage, and it is completely calibration-free. The probe’s accuracy is ±0.01% of the measuring range.

Data is transmitted using either the Labcom 200 or the Labko 255 GPRS communication unit.
The device is interfaced to a remote monitoring system that automatically transmits data at set intervals.

The data are relayed to a web server and updated continuously. In addition to surface level readings, the transfer files can include information on water temperature, acidity and conductivity.
